LOUD BODIES was founded by 23 year old Patricia Luiza Blaj, with the goal of making comfortable and fashionable clothes for every body. Frustrated with the lack of stylish clothing options that fit her, Patricia struggled with body image. She then began to realize she was not alone. Women of ALL shapes and sizes have insecurities because they are told they should by the media, friends, family, and brands. This societal message fueled Particia to create LOUD BODIES, a collection of bright bold pieces reflective of the truth that everyone deserves to live out loud.
From the company's founding in 2018, sustainability has been a consideration. LOUD BODIES uses recycled packaging, invests in the offset of their carbon emissions, and eliminates waste wherever they can. They have even turned scrap fabric into pillows and donated them to puppy shelters. In 2019, Patricia made the decision to more wholly embrace sustainability and announced that all LOUD BODIES items will be made only from sustainable fabrics. Despite the curveball that was the pandemic, the company has successfully continued on this mission.

Based in New York City, HOURS was inspired by the lack of diversity in the luxury clothing market. Co-founders and sister-in-laws, Harroop Kaur and Naaz Gulati were tired of having to tell their plus size friends that the clothing they liked did not come in their size. So they set out to create modern, high quality, and elegant pieces for plus size women. HOURS designs fill the gap between boring basics and loud patterns, with the intent of creating versatile clothing women will want to wear again and again.
Sustainable and ethical practices are at the core of HOURS operations. The company works with ethical suppliers and conducts regular audits throughout their supply chain to ensure worker safety, fair compensation, and proper waste disposal. Other sustainability efforts in HOURS' operations include upcycling, elimination of plastic, and a minimalistic shipping model.

Sotela makes consciously crafted clothing that celebrates all bodies. Body appreciation is at the heart of their mission, as their ultimate goal is "to restore your relationship with clothing and celebrate the strength and resilience of your body". Hanna Barbor-Padilla created Sotela to cater to the reality that bodies are constantly changing. She decided women should have pieces that always fit, even when they are bloated, are pregnant, lose weight, and gain weight. Sotela clothing is forgiving, so you can count on it through all stages of life.
Sotela not only enables women to be more sustainable by reducing their clothing consumption, but they produce their pieces sustainably as well. They hand-make all pieces in their California studio and use fabrics like Tencel, modal, and linen to minimize their environmental impact. Additionally, Sotela's packaging and marketing items are made from recycled materials.

DAY/WON is a size-inclusive, sustainable athletic brand on a mission to empower women to feel unstoppable. With every style available in sizes 0 to 32, DAY/WON is the first 100% size-inclusive activewear brand in the United States! Made with sweat-wicking, compression, and antimicrobial fabrics, each piece is performance ready. Fashion model Candice Huffine was training for a marathon when she realized there were extremely limited high-performance activewear options for women over size 10. After she crossed the finish line, she decided to create DAY/WON to help other women embrace their authentic selves and stop telling themselves they "can't". DAY/WON has won awards from SELF, Women's Health, and Women's Running Magazine for the quality and fit of their clothing.
DAY/WON manufactures their items on-demand, with recycled materials, right in upstate New York. Their fun prints are digitally constructed and never water dyed. These practices eliminate water pollution as well as the over-use of resources.
